KIC is a family-orientated business, based in the Wairarapa.

Emphasis is placed on extended involvement from all family members into the day-to-day running of the company.

Kiwi Ideas Company KICked off in 2004 with first product development underway.

"Safe Eyes®" was established after 5 years of research and development, trying to find suitable eye protection for the forest industry.

Our main aim was to develop ultimate eye protection that didn't fog up when under physical exertion. The outcome was Safe Eyes®, the un-fog-gettable goggles, that not only didn't fog up but also stood up to the rugged conditions typical of kiwi lifestyle.
